About Chad
I have been in Ministry for 30 years. In those 30 years I have served in Student Ministry and for the last 20 years I have served 2 congregations as Senior Pastor. The first for 9 years and the second for 11 years. In 2019 I become the Association Mission Strategist for the Jefferson Baptist Association. We are an Association of 40 SBC Churches just south of St. Louis. My role primarily is to serve our churches and help promote, lead and teach toward Church Health and Vitality. In the last Church I served as Pastor, we led our church through the Strategic Envisioning Process with TMG. When I came to my association, we let a cohort style group through Strategic Envisioning. I have been trained in a variety of other methods, but I keep coming back to TMG and the Strategic Envisioning Process. It works, I have personally seen it in a church that I have pastored. I have been married for just over 25 years, my wife and I have 4 children aged 22, 20, 18 and 17. I love the church and desire to see it become healthy and vibrant regardless of size!
Chad Hodges was instrumental in working with me as the Revitalization Pastor of our church as we were going through our visionary and overall strategy and structure phase of planning. This process usually takes me months to work through, however due to Chad’s input and assistance, our team was able to work through our steps in mere weeks as the entire church embraced the whole process along with a new direction. We now have a vision, a mission, and a means to get there for the glory of God! Chad’s knowledge and expertise provided the necessary guidance and information we needed to succeed.
Chad played a vital role in our church being introduced to what The Malphrus Group offers for revitalization and growth. He helped lead our church to ask tough questions of our present reality, but also helped us to see how great our future vision can be. Chad was able to give me, as a pastor, insight and steps to help lead our church to that vision. His heart is for churches to do what the Lord has called them to, and Chad's experience and care helps them see that calling.
