About Larrie
I serve as the Pastor/Director of Church Revitalization and Expansion at CCV, combining my passion for strengthening local churches with my decades of experience in global missions and organizational leadership. My ministry journey began in April 1982 as a founding officer of Christ's Church of the Valley (CCV) in Peoria, Arizona—a church that has grown to a weekend attendance of over 54,000.
From 1998 to 2026, I served as CCV's Lead Pastor of Missions. I oversaw more than 70 mission partners planting churches worldwide and traveled to over 80 countries to advance the Gospel. This global perspective has shaped my approach to church revitalization. It has helped me understand that thriving churches are the only hope for the future.
I have help found over 30 organizations throughout my career, including STARS Youth Sports, Inc. (founded 2004), which has created positive community engagement by serving over 28,000 youth players annually and introducing hope and the Gospel through sports; StreetlightUSA, which has provided support services and safe environments for children vulnerable to sex trafficking; and Mission Create, a platform responsible for incubating and launching numerous kingdom-focused initiatives that have impacted communities both locally and internationally.
Currently, I'm completing my PhD at the University of Bucharest. I built on my bachelor's degree in business administration and my master's in practical theology. My research focuses on how social networks and theological practices intersect to facilitate church growth and spiritual formation. These insights directly inform my church revitalization work.
I also host and produce the Let's Go 360 podcast (https://www.letsgo360.org/), where we explore global missions, church health, and leadership development.
I have been married to Sheila for 55 years, and together we have two daughters and nine grandchildren.
Before entering full-time ministry, I spent 19 years as a director in Intel Corporation's Information Technology Division. This corporate experience equipped me with skills in strategic planning and organizational development that I now apply to ministry contexts.
As an Enneagram 5 wing 4 with a Working Genius in Discernment and Invention, I blend deep theological reflection with innovative strategic planning to help churches reimagine their future and rediscover their missional passion.
