About Jimmy

I currently serve as the Pastor of Discipleship, Connections, and Outreach at Cape Carteret Baptist Church here in Eastern North Carolina. Our church has seen firsthand what God can do in a season of revitalization — we walked through our own in 2020 — and that experience has shaped the way I pray for and walk with churches who are seeking renewed health and direction.

I’m genuinely excited to come alongside you, to pray with you, and to help guide you as you pursue becoming the church God has called you to be.

A little about me: I was born and raised in South Florida. My wife, Amber, and I have two daughters — Rei (2017) and Charis (2020) — who keep our home full of joy, noise, and adventure. Over the last 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving in several churches in both pastoral ministry and creative arts ministry.

My heart is simple: I want every person to discover that because of Jesus, hope is never far away. No matter what season you’re in or what challenges you’re facing, hope is always just around the corner.
