About Don
On January 1, 2024 I received my ordination from the National Association of Christian Ministers. I am currently an Elder at the First Christian Church in Effingham. My ministry is leading worship, preaching and teaching God's word to the congregation from the pulpit and in small group bible study. On July 10, 2024 I completed training with The Malphurs Group to be a certified Guide in order to help churches that are seeking to revitalize and better fulfill the mission Christ has given to the Church.
Known as an engaging servant-leader. I Love to lead teams, mentor disciples, and provide oversight for Church revitalization. I have outstanding active listening, critical thinking, decision-making, team building, and problem-solving skills. I have an MBA from Regis University and a Bachelor in Science in Industrial Technology, from Southern Illinois University.
I am married with 4 children, 14 grand children and 2 great grand children. My wife and I reside in Effingham, Illinois and attend the First Christian Church of Effingham. I am excited to help be a part of your churches journey to impact the world for Christ.
